Traditional Brazilian Agate ULU
This Brazilian Agate knife is hand-crafted out of 100% raw and natural materials. Each material is hand-harvested and processed in the traditional manners of long ago. They are made true to their nature, in build, function, and form. with both beauty and integrity, they make great display pieces that can also be used as they were for thousands of years. The handle is made of Alaskan Spalted Birch, bound to the blade is Spruce Pitch glue. The sheath is made with Salmon skin and Caribou raw hide and bound together with Stinging Nettles.
~Ulu have been found that date back to as early as 2500 BCE. Traditionally, the ulu would be passed down from generation to generation. It was believed that an ancestor's knowledge was contained within the ulu and thus would also be passed on.
