This beautiful Drop Point Hunter, is made with 232 layer Damascus out of 1095\ 15N20 steels for edge retention and flexibility. Hardened to 59C this will hold an edge and also be easy to sharpen. The handle is Expertly crafted with comfort in mind, consisting of IronWood, Alaskan Yellow Cedar, and Micarta pins. Alaskan yellow cedar is commonly used by Native Alaskans for medicine to tools to totem poles. The artist, John, Is a Juneau local and resides in Juneau year round.
